Joe "Paw" Laird started this farm and a country store in 1945 along with his wife. He was a quiet man who enjoyed a good day's work on the farm.
He cared for his animals and plants in a gentle way and had a great affection for his farm. But most of all, Paw Laird loved his family and the people in his community. He could always cultivate strong friendships.
Paw Laird's philosophy still lives today at Red Bluff Farm: We are about people and establishing relationships by leaving lasting impressions.
